On August 12, Amsterdam’s Q-Factory was buzzing with excitement as the talented, rising boy group LUN8 brought their vibrant energy to the Dutch capital. Starting the day on a warm note, the group held an intimate pre-show fan meeting, giving LUV8 (LUN8 fandom name) a chance to connect closely with the members before the main stage even began.

Lighting Up The Stage With Dynamic Setlist

The atmosphere was electric before the members even stepped onto the stage. Kicking the concert into high gear right away, LUN8 opened their set with the powerful track "BACK", setting a fiery tone for the evening. The energy stayed high as they moved effortlessly through fan favorites like "Nauty", "Wild Heart", and "XX". Each song highlighted their tight unit choreography and signature youthful sound, keeping the room bouncing from start to finish.

LUN8 x Dutch Fans: Games & Hilarious Interactions

LUN8 didn't just bring incredible vocal and dance performances, their fan service and stage games proved why they are so beloved. Midway through the show, the members split into duos for a hilarious mini-competition with fun penalties: Takuma & Chael, Jin Su & Jun Woo, Yuma & Ian.

The games included a hilarious challenge to guess songs based solely on footsteps, bringing out the members' competitive side. The highlight of the interactive segment was a competition to speak Dutch! The members melted hearts across Q-Factory as they tried out local phrases, notably serving up charming renditions of "Ik hou van jou" ("I love you") that triggered deafening cheers from the crowd.

Latest EP: “Off the Grid” & Emotional Highlights

The concert also gave LUN8 the opportunity to perform songs from their newest EP, Off the Grid.

Title track “SNEAKERS” perfectly captures LUN8’s youthful and playful side. Bright, fun and full of personality, it brought a fresh energy to the stage. “SUPER POWER” (from an older album) in between showed a different side of the group. Inspired by the feeling of falling in love, the song brought a sweeter and more romantic atmosphere. Then came “TO THE MOON,” switching up the mood once again and showing the different styles and energy LUN8 can bring to a live performance.

During the introduction, the members spoke about their “most beautiful world” and the important people in their lives. It created a touching moment between LUN8 and LUV8 before they performed the song. It was a softer contrast to the games and high-energy performances earlier in the evening and showed that LUN8 are able to create an emotional connection with their audience as well as entertain them.

Last thoughts

Throughout the whole night, LUN8 excelled in fan service and genuine interactions, ensuring every corner of Q-Factory felt connected to the stage. After the final notes faded, the experience concluded on a personal note, with fans securing snapshots, polaroids, and selfies with the members to preserve the memory. As all LUV8 will agree, we will carry the memories of a beautiful night with us and cannot wait for LUN8 visits Europe again.
