[Concert Recap] KANG YUCHAN x From20 Cologne
On July 25, 2026, Cologne’s Club Volta became the epicenter of an unforgettable night, as two incredibly talented solo artists joined forces for their European tour, titled Body Talk: KANG YUCHAN & From20. By the time the doors opened, the intimate venue was packed wall-to-wall with dedicated fans, creating an electric, high-voltage atmosphere before the show even began.
From20 Sets the Stage Ablaze
Kicking off the night, From20 took the stage like an absolute force of nature. From the first beat, he brought an infectious vibes and stage presence that instantly set the room on fire.
The performance featured heavy hits alongside tracks from his Rated-R album, for example, with a performance of his latest single "Big Boy", and one of his older songs "Eye Candy" driving the crowd into a frenzy. Beyond the music, From20’s fan interaction was top-tier. In one of the night’s most memorable moments, he casually leaned into the front row and let a lucky fan help him take off his hoodie, sending a wave of screams through the audience.
KANG YUCHAN’s Vocal Elegance Meets Precision Dance
Following From20’s fiery opening, Kang Yuchan took over the spotlight to showcase his immense versatility. Yuchan brought a striking balance of emotional depth and kinetic energy to the stage.
His vocal performance was pristine, heartfelt, soaring, and deeply moving, holding the entire room spellbound during his melodic tracks, including one of his most popular songs,
"Close To You". Yet, Yuchan proved once again that he is the total package; he seamlessly shifted from vulnerable vocals to sharp, intricate choreography. Watching his fluid dance performance up close in such a tight venue was a masterclass in idol artistry.
Double Trouble
As impressive as their individual sets were, the atmosphere hit absolute fever pitch when both artists joined forces on stage for the finale. Delivering the tour's namesake, their joint performance of "Body Talk" was pure synergy. But the absolute peak of the night arrived with "119", a performance that turned Club Volta into a massive, unified rave.
As the heat built up, From20’s shirt came off (again) and the crowd was jumping in complete unison. Can’t forget to mention that in an affectionate, rockstar gesture, the artists sprayed bursts of bottled water over the roaring crowd, providing a much-needed splash of relief to an audience that was giving 100% back to the stage.
Beyond the Stage: What’s Next
The only real downside to the entire evening was how fast it went by, the show ended after an hour and half, leaving everyone buzzing with adrenaline and longing for a few more songs. Thankfully, the experience didn't end when the house lights came up. Fans had the rare opportunity to talk with the artists after the performance, taking snapshots and polaroid pictures, thus wrapping up a legendary night on a warm, personal note.
